Kathy Brown

McMinnville resident and Warren Co. native Kathy Brown, age 51, was born June 25, 1954 and died January 11, 2006 following a sudden illness.  A secretary for Porter Roofing Company she was the daughter of the late J.C. Hayes and the late Sam and Dorothy "Dot" Dodd Brock.  She was a member of the Order Of The Eastern Star, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the McMinnville Breakfast Rotary Club.  She is survived by her husband, Bernie Brown of McMinnville;  three sons, Traye Cope, Chris Cope, and Brandon Harris all of McMinnville;  three grandchildren, Shelton and Madison Cope and Austin Harris;  two sisters, Janie Brock of Spencer, TN and Marsha Brock of Sparta, TN;  brother, Sammy Brock of San Antonio, TX;  several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2006 in High's Chapel with Frank Farrar, Barry Medley, and John Porter officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
