Millie Marie BLEVINS

Rock Island, TN resident and Bradley County, TN native Millie Marie Blevins, age 73, was born July 4, 1936 and died December 29, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a five-month illness. A retired nurse and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Bascom L. and Dora Lee McNeely Buckner. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Jenny Hatfield of Rock Island, TN and George and Tracy Hatfield of Soddy Daisy, TN; sister, Frances Rowe of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Leeda and Jeremy Tittsworth of McMinnville, Amanda J. Hatfield of Rock Island, TN and Drake A. Hatfield and Samuel M. Hatfield both of Soddy Daisy, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2009 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
