Kenneth Lee HOPKINS

McMinnville resident and Dallas, TX native Kenneth Lee Hopkins, age 28, was born October 11, 1982 and died April 13, 2011 at his residence following a sudden illness. A line worker in pipeline construction and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Delaina Asbell of McMinnville and James Dwight Hopkins of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arvil Ray Caldwell; maternal grandmother, Laura Williams Caldwell and paternal grandparents, Roy and Emma Hopkins. In addition to his parents, he is survived by twin brother, James Brian Hopkins of McMinnville and two other brothers, Lenny Ray Asbell of Georgia and Troy (Valerie) Hopkins of McMinnville; sister, Mechell Hopkins of McMinnville and several aunts, uncles and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
