Flossie Beatrice KEENER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Flossie Beatrice Keener, age 88, was born October 25, 1922 and died March 19, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Blaylock Hale. She was married to R.B. Keener who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Alice Keener Owens; granddaughter, Penny Nunley; sister, Delma Santoro and lifelong friend, Howard Nunley. She is survived by three children and their spouses, David and Nora Keener of Indiana, Paul Keener and James and Marie Nunley both of McMinnville; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at Eureka Cemetery with Bobby Muncey officiating.
