Hardie Preston NUNLEY

Myrtle Beach, SC resident and Grundy County, TN native Hardie Preston Nunley, age 60, was born February 26, 1951 and died July 13, 2011 at his residence. A retired United States Air Force veteran of Vietnam, serving from 1971-1991, he was the son of the late Henry Howard and Mary Frances Baker Nunley. He is survived by wife, Sue Pon Nunley of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Kimberly Newman of Omaha, NE; son, Patrick Nunley of Omaha, NE; five grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Sherry Nunley of McMinnville and Russell and Cathy Nunley of Gruetli, TN; mother-in-law, Yai of Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service was held at New Life Church in Altamont, TN Saturday, July 23, 2011.
