Joyce Elaine COLWELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Joyce Elaine Colwell, age 58, was born October 23, 1953 and died August 17, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. A supervisor with Levi Strauss Company, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Eugene and Laura Edith Crawley Craven. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Farless and two brothers, James and Donnie Craven. She was married to Daniel Colwell of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Roxanna Groce of McMinnville and Johnathan Whitlock of Colorado Springs, CO; two step-children, Anthony Colwell and Jason Colwell both of McMinnville; six grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Craven of Byrdstown, TN, Ed Craven of Viola, TN and Billy Craven of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 in High's Chapel with John Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Caney Branch Cemetery.
