Jessie Estell Roberts

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Jessie Estell Roberts, age 82, was born October 2, 1930 and died March 8, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired nursery worker and member of Philadelphia The Baptist Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Savannah Smartt Killian. She was married to Clark Houston Roberts who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Roberts is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Geraldine Roberts and Terry and Sissy Roberts both of McMinnville; five grandchildren and ten-great-grandchildren; special niece, Linda Magness of McMinnville; special great-nephew, Kevin Killian of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 in High's Chapel with Jeff Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Sunday at High's.
