Kathy Pleasant

McMinnville, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Kathy Pleasant, age 62, was born September 21, 1950 and died July 18, 2013 at her residence following a seven-month illness. A cook for the Rotary Club and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Bonnie M. Pleasant of Shelbyville, TN and the late Alvin Mount. She was married to Albert Eugene Pleasant who preceded her in death. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Belinda Pleasant, Kinnette Pleasant and Keisha Carr all of McMinnville; ten grandchildren; two sons, Albert Pleasant, Jr. of Shelbyville, TN and Corey Pleasant of McMinnville; two sisters, Judy Mount and Wilma Mount both of McMinnville; and niece, Ashley Rutledge of McMinnville. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery with Eddie Vance officiating. There will be no visitation at High's.
