Rhonda Kay Pelkey

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Rhonda Kay Pelkey, age 59, was born January 28, 1957 and died July 3, 2016 at her residence following a sudden illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Laster and Drucie Elliott Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Nadine Welch; and brother, Ralph Christian. She was married to Jerry Pelkey of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Jason Edward Underwood of Rock Island, TN and Jay and Verronica Pelkey of Morrison, TN; step-son, Glenn Underwood of Rock Island, TN; two grandchildren, Anthony Robert Underwood and Emily Michelle Pelkey; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Billy Joe Cope and Judy and Billy Lee all of McMinnville. Per her request, there will be no visitation or service at High's. Mrs. Pelkey will be cremated.
