Bettye June Gibbons McCormick

Bettye June Gibbons McCormick, age 81, a McMinnville, TN resident and Overton County, TN native was born October 13, 1935 and died September 10, 2017 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was a homemaker and daughter of the late Charlie and Uree Dodson Gibbons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Henry Reece McCormick on February 23, 1999; and son, Charles Reece McCormick. Mrs. McCormick is survived by son, Landon McCormick of McMinnville; special-in-law, Treva Cornett of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Bella McCormick of McMinnville and Mallory McCormick of Chattanooga, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Lucy Gibbons of Manchester, TN; and two nieces, Rhonda Rains of McMinnville and Kami Gibbons of Manchester. Graveside service and entombment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Jerry Womack to officiate.
