Angela Ruth Johnson

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Angela Ruth Johnson, age 56, was born June 24, 1969 and died March 3, 2026 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A former employee of the Carrier Corporation and a member of First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith, she was the daughter of the late Billy Sterling and Minnie Ellen Vaughn Pendleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Terry and Tony Pendleton.

Angela was married to Billy Johnson of McMinnville, TN on March 24, 2004. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Ashley Pendleton (Danny Muncey) of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Braelyn Lefevers, Bentley Lefevers, Keyton Muncey and Hadleigh Muncey; step-grandchildren, Jordan Muncey, Kailey Muncey (Connor Holt), Emma Muncey and Kadence Muncey; brother, Kenny Pendleton of Knoxville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026 at First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith with Jason Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. No visitation or service will be held at High’s.
