Anthony Litton "Tony" Simmons

Anthony Litton “Tony” Simmons, age 62, a McMinnville, TN resident and Hamilton County, TN native was born December 23, 1958 and died May 17, 2021 at St. Thomas West in Nashville following a brief illness. He was a machine operator at A.O. Smith, a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, and the son of the late Arthur Litton “Bud” and Zelma Gladys Barnes Simmons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Alton Ray Simmons, and niece, Ashley Simmons. Mr. Simmons is survived by daughter, Codie (Rickey) Bryant of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Mike Simmons of McMinnville, TN; and sister, Pam (Tommy) Harris of McMinnville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek in Warren County with Trent Key officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at High’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
