Arlene Mae Lafontsee

Rock Island, TN resident and Brighton, MI native Arlene Mae Lafontsee, age 85, was born January 24, 1939 and died January 23, 2025 at McMinnville Boarding Home. 

A former medical assistant, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Vivian Burges. She was married to LaWayne Lafontsee who preceded her in death. 

Mrs. Lafontsee is survived by three children, Robert Szabo, Kerri Szabo and James Szabo; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Lafontsee made arrangements for her body to be donated to Western Carolina University for research. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
