Bailey (Alexandria) Spain

Nashville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Bailey (Alexandria) Spain, age 28, was born May 2, 1995 and died June 17, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. She loved cats and would volunteer at the Pet Community Center and Metro Animal Care and Control.            

She was the daughter of Melissa Simmons and Joe Gregory Spain, both of McMinnville, TN.  

In addition to her parents, Miss Spain is survived by partner, Andrew McClure of Nashville, TN; step-father, Stephen Simmons of McMinnville, TN; step-mother, Robin Spain of McMinnville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myca Jade and Dwayne Wright and Lindsey and Chandler Adams; brother, Zachery Simmons; paternal grandparents, Joan and Joe Spain; maternal grandparents, Larry Ridenour and Brenda Walling; parents-in-law, Shelly and Doug McClure; best friend, Javian Westmoreland and niece, Eleanor Gray Adams.

Miss Spain was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 161 Old Hickory Lane, McMinnville, TN 37110.
