Barbara Carol Chisam

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Barbara Carol Chisam, age 76, was born December 27, 1946 and died August 6, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith, she was the daughter of the late William Davis and Mary Elizabeth Freeman Bouldin. She was married to Lois Ray Chisam who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandson, Lee Phillips and siblings, Carl Bouldin, David Bouldin and Roy E. Bouldin. Mrs. Chisam is survived by children, Tina (Randy) Cantrell, Melissa (Sam) McCloud, Johnny Chisam and Alyssa (Michael) Davis, all of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Cara, Amber and Billy Ray; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Brylee; siblings, Jackie Perry, Judy Seals, Tony Bouldin and Gary Bouldin and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Jason Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bybee Chapel Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
