Barbara Jean Swack Stubblefield

Barbara Jean Swack Stubblefield, 86, of McMinnville, died at home Tuesday, October 6, 2020. A native of Putnam County, she was born September 19, 1934 and was preceded in death by her parents, H.E. and Manila King Swack; her husband, Bobby Stubblefield, and her son, Danny Stubblefield, all of McMinnville. She graduated Central High School in 1952, was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Melinda (Jerry) Hughey of Pulaski, TN; two sons, Jeff, and Jonathan (Tonya) Stubblefield, both of McMinnville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation is at High Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday October 8 and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday October 9. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of High Funeral Home on Friday October 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Purdue officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN.
