Barbara Jo Capshaw

Barbara Jo Capshaw, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born July 12 and died December 6, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness. She once stated, “Age is just a number and mine is unlisted”. She worked in quality control at Oster, was a member of the Baptist faith, and the daughter of the late Brown and Josephine Butcher Stubblefield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lonnie Benton Capshaw. Mrs. Capshaw is survived by three children, Teresa (Lee) Hennessee, Terry (Kerry) Mullican, and Marcia (Bob) Steele all of McMinnville, TN; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Lee Hennessee officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at High's. A private inurnment will be held at a later time.
