Becky Ross

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Becky Ross, age 59, was born June 18, 1962 and died January 4, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. A retired material handler from Federal Mogul and a member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late Tommy D. and Betty Jean Campbell Sweeton. She was married to Richard Allen who preceded her in death November 22, 2020. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Sweeton and Jimmy Sweeton. Mrs. Ross is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Michelle Christian of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Laney (London) Christian of McMinnville, TN and Madison, Kaleb, and Bryan Christian, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and William Fults of McMinnville, TN; two brothers and sister-in-law, Dewayne and Renee Sweeten of McMinnville, TN and Johnny Sweeton of Rock Island, TN; adopted son, Tim Mathis of McMinnville, TN; special friends, Jo Boyd of McMinnville, TN and Jennifer "Boo" Hamilton of Smithville, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Johnny Haston officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.
