Berdie Lee Winton

Morrison, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Berdie Lee Winton, age 94, was born April 16, 1931 and died December 20, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness. 

A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lee P. and Dorothy Hobbs Smartt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. B. Winton and sisters, Imogene Brown and Juanita Scott. 

Mrs. Winton is survived by children, Manuel Dale Winton of McMinnville, Brenda Kay Fults and Patricia Dodson, both of the Hubbard's Cove Community;  grandchildren, Chasity (Chris) Cooper, Brandon (Melisha) Fults, Kelly Dale Winton, Jennifer Stacey and Brittany (John) Chamberlin; great-grandchildren, Makayla Fults, Maddison Fults, Ryan (Katie) Cooper, Katelyn (Justin) Bass, Mason Cooper, Skyler Stacey, NicaBella Winton and Noah Chamberlin; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Caisen, Hazel and baby Addisen on the way; best friend, Jane Winton and several nieces and nephews. 

A private family graveside service will be held at Wesley's Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County.
