Bernice Driver

Centertown Community resident and Warren County native Bernice Driver, age 74, was born on April 15, 1951 and died on September 23, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones following an extended illness. She was married to James Driver on April 24, 1970 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, Grady and Lena Williamson and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Harold Williamson and sister-in-law, Ruby Williamson. 

She retired in 2005 as a Teacher’s Aid from Warren County Schools and was a member of Unity Church of Christ.

She is survived by sons, Chris (Kim) Driver and Chad (Nola) Driver, both of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Ashley (Brian) Wilkinson, Blake (Britann) Driver and Caylon Driver, all of McMinnville, TN; great-grandchildren, Journey and Karson Wilkinson and River Driver, all of McMinnville, TN; sister, Hazel West of McMinnville, TN; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Simons of Morrison, TN; several nieces and nephews and friends.

Mrs. Driver was a member of the Genealogy Association Group and loved spending time with family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
