Betty Catherine Helton Lance Drake

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Betty Catherine Helton Lance Drake, age 83, was born March 12, 1939 and died May 12, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired lead technician from Magnetek and member of Shellsford Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lilly Belle Nelson Helton. She was married to Homer Marshall Lance and Donald Drake, both who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by son, Marshall Glenn Lance, granddaughter, Cassandra Nicole Lance and daughter-in-law, Betty Faye Lance. Mrs. Drake is survived by two children, Linda Gail Lance Williamson of Woodbury, TN and Douglas Brenten Lance of McMinnville, TN; two granddaughters, Melissa (Reed) Bryson and Stephanie (Nicholas) Lovvorn, both of Woodbury, TN; three great-granddaughters, Kerigan, Kymber and Elliott Lovvorn and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside service was held at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County, TN. No service or visitation was held at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
