Betty Sue Daus

McMinnville resident and Harold, KY native Betty Sue Daus, age 84, was born August 15, 1937 and died December 30, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of JCPenney and member of McMinnville First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Kermit and Irene Campbell Howell. She was married March 5, 1955 to Ronald Ralph Daus who preceded her in death October 18, 2014. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Teddy Howell; sister and brother-in-law, Herilene and Tony Belcher and two nephews, Timothy Elschlager and Troy Howell. Mrs. Daus is survived by two daughters, Karen Daus of McMinnville and Kimberlee Daus of Antioch, TN; four grandchildren, Brandon Young (Nastassia Wenderlich) of Gilbert, AZ, Adam (Karen) Rush of Waynesboro, TN and Pete Faison and Rebecca Faison both of Antioch, TN; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Susie (Jack) Bowman of Pickerington, OH and Jane (Ron) Elschlager of North Ft. Myers, FL; two brothers, Kermit (Suzy) Howell of Santa Rosa, CA and Bill (Carol) Howell of Groveport, OH and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in High's Chapel with Adam Rush, Ryan Heatherly and Tommy Vann officiating. Burial will follow in the Viola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's. The family respectfully requests that everyone in attendance wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center or First United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
