Betty Sue Moore

Betty Sue Molloy Moore, 91, a Cookeville resident and McMinnville native, died November 21, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born May 20, 1930 and was a member of Westwood Church of Christ and Collegeside Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Hillard and Dora Molloy. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, L. Ray Moore and great-grandson, Sedryc Simmons. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Mary) Moore, Mike Moore, and daughter, Terrie Mullican; grandchildren, Melisa Webster, Steve Moore, Jr. (Marilyn), Mike Moore, Jr. (Amanda), Ben Moore, Jennifer Boyd (Justin), Lori Moore, Brent Moore (Angelica), and Bryan Moore (Shawna); and several great-grandchildren also survive. Nanny loved her family fiercely. Her family was second only to her Lord Jesus Christ. She read her bible daily and was a strong Christian woman. She lead her family by example and leaves a legacy of love, loyalty, and cherished family recipes. Graveside service and interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday November 24, 2021 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Jimmy Priestly officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at High’s.
