Beulah Margaret Powers

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Beulah Margaret Powers, age 92, was born March 12, 1929 and died September 14, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired machine operator from Formfit Rogers and a member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late Ruben Leonard and Annie Bell Ray Wright. She was married to Everett T. “Spud” Powers who preceded her in death on February 7, 1996. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Michael Wright and three sisters, Athalene Scruggs, Shelby Jean Barrett, and Louise Martin. Mrs. Powers is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Donna Powers of McMinnville, TN; two grandchildren, Mark Brent Powers of McMinnville, TN and Brent Riley Powers of Murfreesboro, TN; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Grant Powers and Macie Powers; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
