Bill T. Wanamaker

Bill T. Wanamaker, age 85, was born in Grundy County to parents Marvin and Mabel Wanamaker.

Mr. Wanamaker was preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Mabel Wanamaker; wife, Brenda Ruegge Wanamaker; son, Michael G. Wanamaker; daughter, Denise Wanamaker Underhill; grandson, Stephen Hunter; granddaughter, Katelyn Underhill; brothers, Alvin and Danny Wanamaker and second wife, Maggie Wanamaker.

He is survived by daughters, Deborah (Danny) Johnson and Gina (Jeff W.) George; grandchildren, Kelly (Erica) Johnson, Travis (Jennifer) Johnson, Sheena (Thomas V.) Johnson, Bobby (Brittany) Cantrell, Justin (Beth) Wanamaker, Karly Wanamaker, Jacob George and Chelsi (Michael A.) George; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Carrie Lou Tate and Loretta Roberts; brother, Foster Wanamaker and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Jackie Matheny and Kevin Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
