Bobby Donald Ashburn

Bobby Donald Ashburn, age 77, was born August 31, 1946 in DeKalb Co. TN and passed from this life on November 23, 2023 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital after a brief illness. He was retired from Powermatic- The Foundry, a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith and liked to go fishing in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Odella Goolsby Ashburn of Smithville, TN; ex-wives, Linda Parish and Carolyn Ashburn and son, Bobby Jewell Ashburn, all from McMinnville, TN.

He is survived by sisters, Dorothy Herrin of McMinnville, TN, Eva Smith of Wisconsin and Betty Burton of Viola, TN; daughter, Tangelia (Terry) Patterson of McMinnville, TN; son, Gary Ashburn of McMinnville, TN; ten grandchildren, Danny (Jessica) Jones, Jr., Montana (Brandon) Hendrix, Joshua Oaks, Donovan (Madaline) Oaks, Ashley (Kyle) McCurry, Garrett Ashburn, Aaron (Keandera) Ashburn, Patrick Ashburn, Hannah Ashburn and Chelsey Ashburn; twelve great-grandchildren, Peyton Roland, Lakelyn Jones, Emma Jones, Daniella Jones, Micaela Jones, Kinsley Ashburn, Alena Lazzara, Cayman Ashburn, Sophia Ashburn, Serinity Ayers, Skylan Beachman and Stassi Ashburn.

A memorial gathering will be held at the First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith at 1465 Shelbyville Road, McMinnville, TN on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a service by Pastor Jason Nunley from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
