Bonnie Kate Stanton Moody

Roswell, GA resident and Putnam County, TN native Bonnie Kate Stanton Moody was born November 20, 1925 and died July 7, 2026 at The Georgian Lakeside Senior Living Center in Roswell, GA. 

A homemaker, avid golfer and member of the Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Lucian Hargis and Anna Lee Bohannon Stanton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Bennett Moody; siblings, Natalie, Elizabet hGenson, Jack Stanton and Harold Stanton. 

Mrs. Moody is survived by her daughters, Lucia Peacock of Arlington, TX and Bonnie Cheney of Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Justin Cheney and Amber Moreland; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jolene Stanton and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service and interment will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. There will be no visitation at High's.
