Brandy Nichole King

McMinnville resident and Dekalb County, TN native Brandy Nichole King, age 42, was born January 2, 1981 and died suddenly October 1, 2023 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville.            

A retired waitress and cook and member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of Phillip and Tina Jones of Rock Island, TN. She was preceded in death by grandfather, Stanley Fults; mother-in-law, Betty King; great-grandparents, Elbert and Naiomi Fisher and grandfather, Albert Jones. 

She was married to Jeff King of McMinnville on October 30, 1999. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. King is survived by daughter, Haley LeAnn King of McMinnville; son-in-law, Austin Adams; granddaughter on the way, Renee Nichole King; sister, Latisha Jones of Rock Island, TN; grandparents, Louise Turner and Sue Fults; several aunts, uncles and cousins and father-in-law, Austin King. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Cecil King, Timmy King, Danny Smedley and Collin Smedley officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bybee Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
