Brenda Jane Turner Basham

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Brenda Jane Turner Basham, age 68, was born March 14, 1955 and died September 26, 2023 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.

A homemaker and member of Forest Park Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Georgia Ogle Turner. She was married to Jimmy Basham on October 31, 1975 who preceded her in death on September 1, 2009. 

Mrs. Basham is survived by sons, LaShawn Basham, Jimmy Perry Basham, Benjamin (Stephanie) Basham and Jeremy Basham, all of Morrison, TN; grandchildren, Bryson James and Ariana Skye Basham; sisters, Janice Turner of McMinnville, TN, Ann Bowen of North Carolina, Rita Goodwin of Kodiak, TN and Nancy Sanders of McMinnville, TN; brother, Jimmy Turner of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Bob Vickers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
