Viola, TN resident and Warren County native Brenda Kay Thaxton, age 66, was born January 3, 1959 and died November 23, 2025 at her residence following a sudden illness.
The daughter of the late George H. and Daisy Lee Bunch Thaxton, Sr., she was also preceded in death by sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Larry Stotts and Jewel and David Winningham; sister, Jean Kirby; brother, Danny Lee Thaxton; brother-in-law, Dan Seamons; nephew, Jim-Bob (Robbie) Rymer and great-niece, Mylie Beth Cantrell.
Miss Thaxton is survived by siblings, George (Kay) Thaxton of Viola, TN, Lonnie Thaxton of McMinnville, Connie (Fred) Beard of Spencer, TN, Linda (Steve) Rymer of Altamont, TN, Michael (Lisa) Thaxton of Viola, TN, Frances (Bo) Jennings of McMinnville; brother-in-law: Mike Kirby of Altamont, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Ryan Vincion officiating. There will be no visitation at High's.
