Brian Craig Nowlin

Brian Nowlin, age 52, a Murfreesboro, TN resident and McMinnville, TN native was born on February 6, 1969 and passed August 7, 2021 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. He was a supervisor at Nissan Smyrna TN. Brian was a strong family man who was admired by many and a leader in the community. Brian was a hard worker, great friend, and beloved father and papa. He spent most weekends surrounded by family and friends barbequing, sharing memories, passing down wisdom and his love of family. He is the late son of Joyce Nowlin. He is proceeded in death by grandparents, Fred and Lera Nowlin and Don and Dorthy McGee; his uncle, William “Bill” Nowlin; and brother-in-law, Donald Ray McGee. Brian is survived by his two children, Craig (Jessica) Nowlin and BJ (Michelle) Nowlin, both of Murfreesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Mya, Jalen, and Emilia Nowlin; sister, Madelyn (Jeff) Ragland of Nashville, TN; devoted best friend and mother of Craig and BJ, Diane Nowlin and her extended family; and several close aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Sommer Worley officiating. Wake will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at High’s. The family respectfully request that masks be worn at all times. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery on Saturday.
