Calvin Robert Benton

McMinnville, TN resident and Volusia County, FL native Calvin Robert Benton, age 75, was born July 4, 1946 and died December 11, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired painter and office manager for the Florida Condo Board, he was the son of the late “Pete” Elick Woodrow and Pearl Hamm Benton. He was married to Carolyn Daniels who preceded him in death. Mr. Benton is survived by nine grandchildren, Courtney Seibers of McMinnville, TN, Leeann Halderman, Jacob Elam, Jaime Elam, Kayla Medley, Sammye Jo Medley, Miranda Medley, Colby Medley, and Emma Perdue; two great-grandchildren, Zachery Lindroth and Adalyne Cantrell; step-daughter and spouse, Laura and Billy Medley; and step-son, Richard Perdue of Florida.
