Carl Eugene Nunley

Liberty, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, Carl Eugene Nunley, age 65, was born October 18, 1956 and died May 13, 2022 at St. Thomas Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN following a sudden illness. A retired electrician from Yates Services, he was the son of the late Charles Willard and Mildred Lenora Keel Nunley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Caitlin Sierra Talley; uncles, Parker Keel and George Nunley and aunt, Kathy Bowdoin. Mr. Nunley is survived by partner of 38 years, Rita Cadena of Liberty, TN; children, Jamie (Criss) Alford and Tara Alford, both of McMinnville, TN, Mary Tiffany Nunley of Cookeville, TN and Cody (Brittany) Nunley of Cannon County, TN; grandchildren, Dezrick Fults, Johnnie Fults, Carigan, Caden, Colton, Hayden Nunley and Skylar Alford; brothers, Kenny Nunley and Joe (Lori) Nunley and aunts and uncles, Mary Winningham, Velma Hobbs, Alda Bandy, L.D. Nunley, Linda (Keith) McBride and Richard Keel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2022 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
