Carolyn Geraldine Martin

Carolyn Geraldine Martin was born February 7, 1950 and passed away on September 12, 2025 from a lingering illness at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 75 years old and a member of North Hills Church of God of Prophecy.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Vancie and Geraldine Martin and two brothers, Vancie Jr. and Jerry Martin.

Carolyn is survived by sisters, Donna (Ricky) Johnson of McMinnville, TN and Linda Cunningham of Richmond, CA; uncle and aunt, Michael and Munice Harris of McMinnville, TN; aunts, Alice Standford of Sarasota, FL, Bertha Blackmon of Charlotte, NC and Martha League of Detroit, MI; uncle, Charles Boyd of McMinnville, TN; godchildren, Laveda Bryan, Keyonna Bryan, Xavier Jones and Keynai Bryan; nephew, Anthoney Cunningham of Richmond, CA; niece and nephew, Brianna and Aubrey Currington of Citrus Heights, CA; great-nieces, Lauren Cunningham of Antioch, CA and Imani Currington of Citrus Heights, CA; a host of cousins; dear friends, Cathy Spencer, Teresa Smith, Kaye Pendleton, Annie, Odie & Martha Womack and special cousins, Charlie and Stan Boyd of McMinnville, TN.

Carolyn spent over half of her life teaching youth Sunday School class and children’s church, therefore, in lieu of flowers to honor her, donations can be made to North Hills Church of God of Prophecy Youth Fund (935 Old Smithville Highway, McMinnville, TN 37110).

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery at Martin Charge in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
