Charlene Alley Humphrey

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Charlene Alley Humphrey, age 84, was born May 10, 1937 and died February 1, 2022 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Charles Creek the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Violet M. Hawkins Alley. She was married to Joe Humphrey, Jr. of McMinnville, TN on June 11, 1955 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Marshall Paul Alley and sister, Bessie Marie Basham. Mrs. Humphrey is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Martha Humphrey of McMinnville, TN, James Humphrey of Nashville, TN, and Joey and Christina Humphrey of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Louise Pearsall of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Brandi and Garrett McCormick, Daniel and Melanie Sullins, Kristy and Eric Haagerson, Samatha and Michael Foster, Cory and Jenna Beall, and Dustin and Karli Baell and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Nick Pelham officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
