Charlene Snipes

McMinnville, TN resident and Sebring, FL native Charlene Snipes, age 68, was born May 8, 1956 and died November 25, 2024 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness.

A retired employee of Pacesetters, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine Arnold Snipes, Sr.

Ms. Snipes is survived by husband, Robert Rodrigues of McMinnville; daughters, Laura Comfort (Steven Nelson) of McMinnville and Katie (Greg) Stilwell of Rock Island; grandchildren, Dewayne Melton, Katelynn Melton and Lily Stilwell; great-grandchildren, Paizlee Melton and Raylen Melton; special friend, Brianna Johnson; siblings, William (Shirley) Snipes, Jr., Darlene Adams and Wilma Shannon all of Florida, Tammy Harrison (Joe Arnold) of Pennsylvania and Myra Gaban of Georgia; niece, Roxanna (Lisaman) Flagg of Florida; nephew, Chopper White of Florida; several other nieces and nephews and special friend, Glenda Wilcher.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at High’s. Per her wishes, Ms. Snipes will be cremated following visitation.
