Charles Warren "Chizo" Jones

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Charles Warren “Chizo” Jones, age 94, was born August 28, 1927 and died December 27, 2021 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville after a long life. A United States Navy veteran of World War II, a self-employed business owner, and a member of Westwood Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Charlie and Zula Warren Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Jerald Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lena Doak Jones; children, Randy (Kathy) Jones of Flowery Branch, GA, Cindy (Monte) Swann of Viola, TN and Chuck (Aprill) Jones of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Mendi Davis of Viola, TN, Travis Swann of Murfreesboro, TN, Warren Swann of Murfreesboro, TN, Elgin Leary of Athens, GA and Megan McCoy of Tamo, GA; seven great-grandchildren and brother Jeff (Fran) Jones.
