Christine received her degree from Nashville Business College and began working locally at Womack Brother’s Wholesale Grocery. She served in the bookkeeping & accounting department. She later was employed with Arnold Engineering Development Center in Tullahoma and remained there until her retirement.
Her retirement came at the marriage to the love of her life, James Bouldin on February 23, 1975. She then became a farm wife and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and tending to her chickens. Nana always brought delicious home cooked meals to the field during planting and harvest time.
Christine was a faithful member of Rockliff church of Christ. She was a dedicated elder’s wife for many years; teaching Bible classes, preparing food, and serving the church.
Christine was a charter member of the Warren County Genealogical Association and she spent much time in research. She researched not only for her family but numerous families in this area. She was a charter member of the Ladies Association of Christian Education, working tirelessly to raise money to support Boyd Christian School. In 1990 she was named Citizen of the Year by the Morrison Ruritan Club.
Nana’s home was warm and welcoming; her back door always open for a visit. She was especially proud of her four grandchildren and was happy to share their stories and newspaper clippings. Nana lived a life of service to her family and church. She loved her family dearly and we loved her.
