Christy Guire Stevens

Sparta, TN resident and Warren County native Christy Guire Stevens, age 60, was born October 2, 1964 and died May 26, 2025 at Saint Thomas Highlands Medical Center in Sparta, TN following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Stevens was of the Baptist faith and the daughter of the late Thomas Guire and Robbie Sue Sweeton Rains. She was married to Bruce Stevens who preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters, Tiffany Raye McCoig of Cookeville, TN and Chasidy Sue Hash of McMinnville; grandchildren, Kaylan Raye McCoig, Kaylee Jade Hash and Lottie Sue Hash; siblings, Michael Rains, Robbin Jennings and Lynn Rains; nieces, Michelle Jeanette Rains and Ashley Danielle Rains and nephews, Thomas Hunter Lynn Rains, Jedidiah Logan Rains, Keenan Ty Rains and Anthony Lynn Rains, Jr.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2025 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
