Clarence "Tree Man" Martin

Somerset, KY resident and Warren County, TN native Clarence “Tree Man” Martin, age 62, was born November 16, 1961 and passed away April 7, 2024 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A self-employed nursery worker, he was the son of the late Joseph Carol Martin and Ollar Inez Brimer Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Patsy Martin and brothers, Bobby, Felix, Perry, Ed, J.B., James and Danny Martin. Mr. Martin is survived by sisters, Patsy (Johnny) McCormick of McMinnville, Geneva (Roger) Bratcher of Morrison, Jerrie Bryant and Gail Potter both of McMinnville and Mary Jo (Walton) Smith of Rock Island; brother, Paul Martin of McMinnville; stepchildren, Jimmy Shidler, Dennis Shidler and Shane Martin; special grandson, Alan Shidler; several grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Loretta Whitaker; special daughter, Kayla Hodge; special son, Jake Hodge and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Denton Martin to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery Hwy. 30 in Warren County. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
