Clata Rhea Hildreth

McMinnville resident and Cummingsville Community of Van Buren County, TN native Clata Rhea Hildreth, age 76, was born March 16, 1947 and died peacefully surrounded by her husband and family on July 6, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A homemaker and of the Baptist faith, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dovie Guy Hodges. She was married to Billy Hildreth of McMinnville on March 25, 1967.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles (Inez) Hodges, Dudley (Deb) Hodges, Glendull (Jo) McCormick, and David Clayton "DC" (Rebecca) McCormick; sisters, Christine Pettit, Thelma (Jack) Haston and Ozell (Lonnie) Adams; brothers-in-law, Creed Mooneyham, James Dodson and Jerry Hildreth; sisters-in-law, Brenda Hildreth and Linda Hildreth; mother-in-law, Ruth Hildreth and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hildreth is survived by daughters, Lisa Hildreth and Erica (Kelly) Johnson; grandchildren, Derek Swindell, Keain (Hannah) Hildreth, Rhealee Johnson (Westen Wilson) and Rhylann Johnson; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Grace; brother, J.L. Hodges; sisters, Genell Mooneyham, Geneva Dodson (Ralph Walling) and Wanda (Noble) Bouldin; brother-in-law, Tommy Hildreth; sister-in-law, Shirley Hildreth and several nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Per Mrs. Hildreth’s request, she will be cremated. The family will receive visitors between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023 at High’s. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McMinnville Special Games.
