Claude Douglas Bilyeu

Claude Douglas Bilyeu, age 62, of Portland, passed away at his residence on March 5th, 2026. Mr. Bilyeu was born in Putnam Co., TN on September 19th, 1963 to the late Claude Harmon Bilyeu and the late Helen Juanita Matthews-Bilyeu.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bilyeu was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Edward Bilyeu; sister, Judith Ann Bilyeu.

Mr. Bilyeu is survived by his son Lucas Bilyeu of Lakeland, FL; granddaughter, Kaitlyn (CJ) Dickerson of Portland; grandson, Gavin (Kaylie) Bilyeu of Portland; granddaughter, Mashalya Bilyeu of Lakeland, FL; great grandchildren, Emma Kate Dickerson & Eli Dickerson; sisters, Sharon (Melvin) Cantrell of Portland and Rose (George) Nunley of McMinnville, TN; daughter-in-law, Jeannie (Jason) Chaffin of Portland; & several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life for Mr. Bilyeu at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 20th, 2026 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 pm until 2:00 (service time).
