Clifford Terry Phifer

Gainesboro, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Clifford Terry Phifer, age 79, was born July 18, 1942 and died March 6, 2022 at Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center in Gainesboro, TN following an extended illness. A United States Army veteran, administrator with the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Clifford and Mary Frances McVey Phifer. Mr. Phifer is survived by two brothers, William Forest Phifer of Murfreesboro, TN and Danny Phifer of McMinnville, TN and niece, April Carlson of Washington. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Mt View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. No visitation or service will be held at High’s.
