Cynthia was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 21, 1960. She was 65 years old when she went to meet the Lord on January 11, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She died from an extended illness.

During her lifetime, she built small motors at Century Electric, and years later, she became a CNC machine shop worker at Dearborn Midwest. Finally, she retired from this factory. Eventually, she made her way back to McMinnville, Tennessee to live and finally moving to Wichita Falls, Texas where she was called by the Lord.

Cynthia was a devout Christian serving as a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church, in Morrison, Tennessee. She was a loving mother of two, and a homemaker. She was a friend to anyone who knew her. She would be the first to welcome you to her home.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Jep Dillard; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Brown (Dillard); and a sister, Debra Jean Dillard. She is survived by her two sons, Lashay Dillard of McMinnville, Tennessee and Douglas Junior Braston of Wichita Falls, Texas. She also leaves behind three siblings: James Dillard of Winchester, Kentucky, Mary Diann Dillard of McMinnville, Tennessee, and Katrina Lynette Dillard of Winchester, Kentucky.

She was also blessed with four beautiful grandchildren: Lavonta Lamar Dillard, Lashya Dillard and great grandchildren, Harrison Dillard and Ian Dillard.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Ramon Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
