Dale Nelson

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Dale Nelson, age 59, was born January 9, 1963 and died December 1, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.           

A homemaker and of the Baptist faith, she was the daughter of the late Venus and A.D. McBride Bess, Jr. She was married to Donnie Lynn Nelson of McMinnville, TN on January 29, 2009.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Roger Tigue.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Nelson is survived by daughter, Jody (Donald) Madewell of Rock Island, TN; two step-sons, Steven Nelson of McMinnville, TN and Marcus Nelson of Rock Island, TN and ten grandchildren, Vera Madewell, Wiley Madewell, John Madewell, Sarah Madewell, Richard Madewell, James Madewell, Jimmy Madewell, Angel Madewell, Dewayne Melton and Katelynn Melton.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
