David "Tony" Jenkins

McMinnville, TN resident and Smith County, TN native David “Tony” Jenkins, age 69, was born July 10, 1956 and died December 31, 2025 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following a sudden illness.

An employee of Yates at Nissan in Decherd, TN, he was the son of the late Jack and Leonar C. Woodard Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, David Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was married October 10, 2010 to Linda Jenkins of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Jennifer Fowler (Bill Hobbs) of Altamont, TN and Dustin (Miranda) Morris of Rock Island, TN; grandchildren, Serenity Bivens (Cayden Newby), Donovan Fowler, LeeAnn Hobbs and Ellie Morris; great-granddaughter, Oakley Newby and brothers, Pete Jenkins of Knoxville, TN and David (Linda) Bean of Lebanon, TN.

Per his wishes, Mr. Jenkins will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
