McMinnville resident and Warren County native Debra Lois Tate, age 63, was born June 22, 1961 and died January 28, 2025 at her sons residence following a brief illness.
A homemaker, crafter, co-owner of B.E.T. Auto and Truck Repair and a member of North Hills Church of God of Prophecy, she was the daughter of the late Bill Eugene and Helen Grissom Lance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Bo Lance; two children and brother-in-law, Jerry Blum.
She was married to Bryan Tate of McMinnville on October 17, 1983. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tate is survived by son, Geoffrey (Nacey) Tate of McMinnville; grandchildren, Teagan, Tucker and Tinslee Tate of McMinnville; brother, Billy Eugene Lance, Jr. of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Larry and Ann Tate of Scottsboro, AL; sister-in-law, Sheryl Blum of Flemming Island, FL; brother-in-law, Jeffrey "Red" (Carol) Tate of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and "sons by love", Chucky King, Barry Elrod, Charles Sidwell and Garrett McCormick.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at North Hills Church of God of Prophecy in McMinnville with Bishop Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at High’s and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
