Denise Cartwright Patterson

McMinnville, TN resident and Knoxville, TN native Denise Cartwright Patterson, age 71, was born April 2, 1952 and died May 26, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Carl Kenneth and Betty Jane Cartwright, Sr. She was married to Rodney Patterson of McMinnville, TN on November 23, 1973.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Timothy Anderson Patterson, Sr. of McMinnville, TN and Allen (Elizabeth) Patterson, Jr. of Hendersonville, TN; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three siblings, Kenneth Cartwright (Lisa Morton) and Charles Douglas (Tammie) Cartwright, both of McMinnville, TN and Allyson Cartwright of Powell, TN and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering and Celebration of Life will he held Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at High Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
