Don Randall Alexander, Sr, 80, of McMinnville, TN, died April 1, 2026, at Gulf Coast Memorial Hospital in Panama City, Florida. Don was born March 12, 1946 in McMinnville, TN to Joe W. and Myrtle Alexander. He attended McMinnville High School. He served his community by managing multiple furniture stores in the Middle TN area and as Grounds Keeper at Central State Hospital. As a Mason, Don was a member of Warren Lodge No.125 of McMinnville, TN where he was a Past Master 2003, Pythagoras No. 358 in Panama City, FL, Al Menah Shrine Temple in Nashville, TN, and Shaddai Shriners in Panama City, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter Marny Burton, step daughter April (John) Magnuson, step son Tracy (Angie) Banks, grandchildren, Aimee (Weston) Whittenburg, Shelby (Adam) Walker, Gunnar (Caitlin) Magnuson, Brandi (Tyler) Cardwell, Abby (Russell) Rigsby, and Taylor (Thomas Tyson) Owen; great grandchildren, Annabelle Dyer, Reese Dyer, Aubree Walker, Slade Rigsby, Ezra Whittenburg, Adlee Walker, Braeden Cardwell, Finnick Whittenburg, Axel Rigsby, Griffin Cardwell, and Charleston Kay Owen and brother-in-law Vance McMahan.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers Bobby Joe Alexander, Ralph Erwin Alexander, and Rickey Lane Alexander; son Don Randall Alexander, Jr and great grandson Ezekiel Rigsby.
Throughout his life, Don was known for his remarkable ability to form genuine connections. He was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him—someone who welcomed others with warmth, listened with sincerity, and offered support without hesitation. His friendships were deep and lasting, and his generosity of spirit touched countless lives. His legacy is one of compassion, integrity, and steadfast love. He will be remembered not only for the roles he held within his family, but for the countless ways he enriched the lives of friends, neighbors, and all who crossed his path.
A memorial service and Masonic service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 in High's Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday, Aprill 11, 2026 at High's.
