Donald Eugene Freeze

Donald Eugene Freeze, age 73, a Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born March 23, 1948 and died September 28, 2021 at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. He was a retired maintenance worker for Carrier Corporation, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and the son of the late Ashley Adam and Jannie Louise Crouch Freeze, Sr. Mr. Freeze is survived by wife, Cherry Freeze of Morrison, TN; son, James “Bubba” (Michelle) Freeze of Morrison, TN; daughter, Donna (Brad) Gross of McMinnville, TN; brother, Ashley Adam (Carolyn) Freeze, Jr. of Morrison, TN; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Melba (Clifton) Henley of Decherd, TN, and Judy (Jerry) Taylor of Woodbury, TN. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Virgil Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. Military graves rites will be conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173 Honor Guard.
